Crocs Casino Resort será un edificio de 17 pisos con 152 habitaciones regulares y 44 de condominio.
El próximo jueves 20 de junio el empresario estadounidense Dag Hascall oficiará la ceremonia de movimiento de tierra de lo que será el Hotel Croc's Casino Resort, en playa Jacó en Garabito de Puntarenas.
Luego de una serie de atrasos achacados a la crisis económica del 2009, Hascall –CEO de la compañía norteamericana Hascall Steel Company– anunció la inversión de $48 millones en un complejo de 26.000 metros cuadrados de construcción, 152 habitaciones regulares y 44 condominios.
Según Esteban Martínez, publicista del hotel, el proyecto se edificará en un terreno de tres hectáreas y generará 300 empleos directos.
La fecha anticipada de apertura se programó para diciembre del 2014 y su construcción estará a cargo de la empresa Edica.
Croc's Casino Resort contará con un casino en un área de 929 metros cuadrados, dos restaurantes de marcas que aún no han sido anunciadas, tres bares, una discoteca, spa, clínica veterinaria, club de niños y un frente con 60 metros de playa.
Asimismo, se dedicarán 464 metros cuadrados a un centro de reuniones y convenciones con capacidad hasta para 400 personas.
El anuncio de la construcción de este nuevo hotel de playa llega después de otros movimientos en el sector hotelero como la inauguración del Sheraton San José en Escazú y Paradisus Papagayo Bay Resort & Luxury Villas en Guanacaste.
